The true heart of Villa Boscarino is the small breakfast room located in the original chapel inside the house; a key architectural element of the most precious Italian noble houses. You can still see the original Latin etching, the floor stones, and the faintly colored lime plaster that dates to the original construction of the building. An authentic union brought to light with restoration and care for the antique structure.

The chapel is a place full of charm from which you can begin the day having a leisurely breakfast and coffee while sitting comfortably on an Eames Plastic Side Chair "DSW", designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1950, and one that represents one of the more notable contributions to modern design.
Urban Garden

The private garden of almost 2000 square meters provides guests with a relaxing and private oasis in which they can enjoy their free time between fruit trees and urban nature.

The renovation of Villa Boscarino was performed by the architect studio "Architrend" of Gaetano Manganello and Carmelo Tumino, who fostered a conservative restoration of the house and of the historical garden.

Room/property types

Rooms

Guests of Villa Boscarino can choose between seven rooms, of which one is for disabled travelers. The rooms vary in size from 10 to 14 square meters.

The rooms are equipped with Simmons mattresses and pillows, and they are furnished with famous elements of the modern design story like Eames Plastic Armchair "DAX" designed by Charles & Ray Eames in the 1950. Free Wi-Fi connection, fully stocked minibar, and HDTVs with full cable access are also provided.

The ground floor rooms are characterized by their exclusive verandas (10-12 square meters), in which it is possible to relax in the open air and enjoy a good book far from the daily grind.

Airports

From the airport take county road number 5 (SP5) towards "Ragusa". At the roundabout take the first exit and proceed along county road number 30 (SP30) until turning left on to the entrance of county road number 7 (SP7), then turn left again to take the 514 state highway (SS514) towards Ragusa – keep to the right lane.

Proceed for 12 kilometers and turn on to the junction for Vittoria/Comiso/Gela/Ragusa Ovest keep left at the crossroads and follow the signs to Ragusa and take exit " Ragusa Sud".

At the roundabout, take the third exit for Via G.Di Vittorio and turn into second road on the left (on the corner of the service station) until second gate climbing overpass and carring on in the same direction until the crossing.

Once arrived to the crossing following Via Galvani, at the next stop carry on the same track road until crossing with Via Mongibello, turn on the left and climb.

At the second way turn on the right in Via L.A.Muratori, 60 meters down the road you´ll find Villa Boscarino on your left.

Catania Airport

From the airport follow the signs to Siracusa/Ragusa and take A18/E45, then take the exit Lentini-Carlentini and keep to the right. Following the directions to "Lentini/Ragusa/SS194" take the 194 state highway (SS194).

At the roundabout take the second exit and keep on the SS194 for 24 kilometres. Proceed on the number 514 state highway (SS514) for 40 kilometres till the junction for Vittoria/Comiso/Gela/Ragusa Ovest. Stay in the left lane, and at the crossing follow the signs to Ragusa and take exit "Ragusa Sud".

Other information

Disembark at the Catania Central Train Station, and then follow the directions for arriving by car or bus from the bus station located 20 meters from the train terminal.
