Travel lulled by the gentle murmur of the god Aeolus, discovering mythological islands immersed in landscapes of enchanting beauty and colours dominated by the shape of active volcanoes such as Mount Etna, Europe´s largest one.

Day 1: Catania
Arrival at Catania airport. Transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight in Catania.

Day 2: Stromboli
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Milazzo to take the hydrofoil to Stromboli. In the afternoon hiking on the volcano (second limit authorized by the Civil Protection) with a volcanologist guide. You will be able to experience the vastness of its lunar landscape and the lush of pine forests. The tour will end with the observation of explosive phenomena at nightfall. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Stromboli.

Day 3: Volcano
Breakfast at hotel, hydrofoil to the island of Vulcano.
In the afternoon hiking on the Crater of Fossa, that will surprise you with its fumaroles and sulfur crystals and will give you a spectacular view. Depending on the season, spare time in the beautiful bay of the black Sands black. Dinner and overnight in residence in Vulcano.

Day 4: Salina
Breakfast and departure by hydrofoil to go to Salina, the greenest among the Aeolian Islands, also renowned for the production of Malvasia. Trekking on Monte Fossa delle Felci natural park. Return in the late afternoon by hydrofoil to the island of Vulcano, dinner in a restaurant and overnight in Vulcano.

Day 5: Lipari
Breakfast and departure by hydrofoil to the island of Lipari. Free day of the island with chance for a visit to the Regional Archaeological Museum Luigi Bernabo Brea, with a collection of the earliest forms of life on the Aeolian archipelago. Return to Volcano, dinner in a restaurant and overnight in the residence in Vulcano.

Day 6: Etna
Breakfast and hydrofoil to Milazzo. Transfer to Piano Provenzana on the north side of Volcano Etna. Small hike to discover the pine Pernicana. Dinner and overnight at a refuge.
Height difference: + 100 / -100, Duration 3.00 hours

Day 7: Etna
Breakfast and departure to Monte Primo. Passing through a magnificent stream of basalt you’ll reach Mount Sartorious and see lava flows dating back to 1928. Arrival at the Rifugio Citelli. Dinner and overnight.
Height difference: + 520 / -200, Duration 5.00 hours.

Day 8: Departure
Breakfast and transfer to Catania Airport. Departure to Dublin.

Useful info
Luggage transport: minivan + hydrofoil. During the day you will take with you only what you need for the day trip.
Climate: Cold on the Etna. Provide appropriate clothing for mountain hiking.
Accommodation: hotel, residence and refuge
Meals: breakfast and dinner at the hotel / restaurant.
