Casorzo village opens its doors to the lovers of nature and food... a day dedicated to relax and good cooking in the welcoming slopes of wine, tasting Malvasia di Casorzo... This is a sweet red wine obtained from an aromatic vine, one and only that since ever grows in the ancient lands of the legendary Aleramo knight.

Guided tour in the old town centre of Casorzo.
The village, with Celtic-roman origins, has a glorious medieval past. Don’t lose the monumental park of Madonna delle Grazie with the ancient Saint Giorgio church, great example of Romanesque style where you can find the typical frescos in the nave, in the apses area and in the bell tower. The several graffiti on the external walls, short testament of local history left from people of the place between the ‘500 and ‘900 century are still amazing and interesting.
From the highest part of Casorzo village, after admiring the view all around Monferrato and the Alps as a retrospective set design, the tour can go on with a walk in the streets of the old town centre. Nice glimpses among the staircases and the noble palaces show up before the arrival to the majestic parish church of Saint Vincenzo with the Piedmontese baroque façade by Magnocavallo architect. It’s nice moving around the surrounding countryside, between Casorzo valley and Grana, for a break under Bialbero, a cherry-tree born spontaneously on a mulberry, and they live in a perfect harmony. A real oddity of nature that since many years attracts many experts and curios people. Stop at the Abbey of Saint Vittore of Grazzano Badoglio, founded by Aleramo, the first Marquise of Monferrato in the X century. The popular tradition wants that Aleramo was buried in the Grazzano abbey, which he wanted to commit to the Benedictine order.
Transfer to an important local winery with a visit to the wine cellar and final wine tasting.

Relax of senses and pleasures of the table at a local restaurant that proposes for the occasion: “Agnolotti del Batör” and “Parfait al Malvasia” in a Taste Menu based on typical recipes of the place. The choice is for the lunch, from Tuesday to Sunday, and for dinner, from Friday to Saturday.
