The charming detached Villa Rosa is located approximately 4 km away from the centre of Floridia in an quiet and typical Sicilian landscape. It is a completely new restored country house which is located on a plot of 13,000 square meters. Even the ancient water reservoir of the property has been restructured into a pool. The ancient structure of the house guarantees a pleasant temperature into the rooms even during the warm summer months.

The ancient country house on one level offers a spacious living area of about 100 square meters with functional furnishings for four people. Since the original structure of the house hasn´t been modified during the renovation, the result is an exceptionally spacious open living room with a bright environment. Here are a dining table, kitchenette, fireplace, sofa and flat screen TV. Espresso coffee machine (classic espresso maker) available. The sleeping facilities of the house for a total of four people are in two bedrooms: a nice double bedroom and a small bedroom with bunk bed. Bathroom with shower, toilet / bidet. Washing machine. Each room has windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. Portable crib and highchair available. Pets are not allowed.
Other information
A beautiful and very spacious veranda surrounds the entire building and completes the rural style of the house. Here on the porch you can swing on a rocking chair, enjoy the new day at the breakfast table, barbecue at evening or lie down on deckchairs and enjoy the gentle warm summer wind. Located on the back porch is a ping pong table. As already mentioned, the ancient water reservoir of the property has been restructured into a private swimming pool (6m x 6m, open from 15.05 to 18.09). The typical round shape of the pool remembers the past, as the water reservoir was used to irrigate the agricultural land during the warm summer months. Of course, an orange and a tangerine grove are available and guests are free to pick fruits from the trees.
Despite the location in the countryside, you don´t have to give up any comfort. The city Floridia with all its shops is easily accessible in about two minutes by car, as well as the city life of Syracuse. The idyllic and quiet Villa Rosa is not just a child-friendly location, but also an excellent starting point to visit the no more than 15 minutes away sandy beach of Fontane Bianche or for a day trip to the stunning nature reserve of Vendicari or the baroque town of Noto.
Parking lot inside. For the duration of the stay, a rental car is recommended.
